Former Miss Universe Brook Lee reveals Trump’s Creepiness at Miss Teen USA 1997 with pics

It is known that Miss Teen USA is a beauty pageant that has been run since 1983 by the Miss Universe Organization for girls aged 14–19 years old as of January 1st of the competition year. They must be US citizens, and cannot have been married, pregnant, or have children.

You have to know that the pageant was owned by Donald Trump from 1996 to 2015 and was previously broadcast on NBC. In September 2015, WME/IMG purchased the pageant from Trump.

While head of the Miss Universe and Miss USA Organization in the mid-‘90s, Trump reportedly became heavily involved with the contestants and their appearance.

Brook Antoinette Mahealani Lee is an American beauty pageant titleholder who won Miss Hawaii USA 1997, Miss USA 1997 and Miss Universe 1997. Lee was the first native Hawaiian to win the title of Miss Universe.

In 1997, at the age of 15, Ivanka Trump co-hosted the Miss Teen USA Pageant, which was partially owned by her father, Donald Trump, from 1996 to 2005. Brook Antoinette Mahealani Lee said when she was Miss Universe she was sitting next to Trump in the audience at the 1997 Miss Teen USA pageant when Trump's daughter, Ivanka, was on stage helping to host the event.

She said he turned to her and asked for her opinion of Ivanka's body. "'Don't you think my daughter's hot? She's hot, right?'" Lee recalled him saying. Ivanka was 16 at the time and Lee thought the comments were "creepy."

Four women who competed in the 1997 Miss Teen USA beauty pageant said Donald Trump walked into the dressing room while contestants — some as young as 15 years old were changing. “I remember putting on my dress really quick because I was like, ‘Oh my god, there’s a man in here,’” said Mariah Billado, the former Miss Vermont Teen USA. Trump, she recalled, said something like, “Don’t worry, ladies, I’ve seen it all before.”

Trump, who owned the Miss Universe, Miss USA, and Miss Teen USA pageants has publicly bragged about invading beauty queen dressing rooms, calling it one of his prerogatives of ownership.

“I’ll tell you the funniest is that I’ll go backstage before a show and everyone’s getting dressed,” Trump told Howard Stern in recordings released Saturday by CNN. “No men are anywhere, and I’m allowed to go in, because I’m the owner of the pageant and therefore I’m inspecting it. ... ‘Is everyone OK?’ You know, they’re standing there with no clothes. ‘Is everybody OK?’ And you see these incredible looking women, and so I sort of get away with things like that.”
